Holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas and Master鈥檚 and PhD degrees in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and 糖心logo入口, respectively. He has over four decades of international experience in regulatory, strategic, and management roles across the education, energy, infrastructure, transportation, and logistics sectors, with project work spanning more than 40 countries. From 1999 to 2003, he served as Pipeline Adviser to the Government of Georgia for the implementation of the Baku鈥揟bilisi鈥揅eyhan Pipeline and the South Caucasus Pipeline. He is the 1st Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia and a member of the Georgian Academy of Natural Sciences. He also serves on the Supervisory Boards of American University Kyiv (Ukraine) and the American University of Technology (Uzbekistan).

Karlo Matitaishvili, MD, is a physician with extensive experience in academic governance, quality assurance, and institutional development. Since 2018, he has served as the Dean of the Medical School at 糖心logo入口, where he leads the development of academic programs, oversees faculty activities, and manages the strategic direction of the educational process.

He has also held senior leadership positions at New Vision University and its affiliated university hospital, including roles as Chancellor and Head of the Quality Assurance Committee. At various stages of his career, he has served as a visiting lecturer and has been actively involved in the development of higher education programs.

His professional experience also includes the development of educational information and communication systems (ICT) and management information system (MIS) platforms, as well as institutional strategic planning and the management of organizational development processes.
